AUDES IS AN ARGENTINE COMPANY OF MINING PROJECT MANAGEMENT SERVICES. OUR OFFICES ARE LOCATED IN THE PROVINCES OF CATAMARCA AND SALTA, LOCATED IN THE NORTHWEST REGION OF ARGENTINA. OUR STAFF HAS EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE IN THE APPLICATION OF ALL REGULATIONS, ENGINEERING STANDARDS AND IN PARTICULAR, THE CONSTRUCTION PRACTICES OF THE NORTHWEST REGION OF THIS COUNTRY.

The AUDES Management team is made up of professionals from multiple disciplines, which allows us to supervise and coordinate different areas of knowledge, such as: Civil and Structural, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, Instrumentation and Control, Safety and Environment, Contract Management , Change Management, General Administration, etc. The members of this team have continuously participated in the Management and Construction of the most important lithium projects in the region such as FMC, Exar, Eramet, Galaxy, Sales de Jujuy, etc.

 

Our experience, strongly focused on meeting project objectives, and the joint work of our professionals, allows us to be the tailored solution for our clients' EPCM (Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management) projects.

“Leaders in Project and Construction Management”

We are currently managing the construction of the 3Q Lithium "Tres Quebradas" project, in the province of Catamarca, Argentina. The lithium carbonate plant is located in Fiambalá at 1,500 meters above sea level, which allows the comprehensive use of the resources of the Laguna Verde salt flat at 4,200 meters above sea level, through different techniques for capturing and purifying the raw material. The project will develop long-term perspectives of bilateral exchanges between Argentina and different countries within the framework of the sustainable development of new energies.

MANAGEMENT
CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT

AUDES has project management professionals, based on clear procedures and applying the best practices of PMI®. Our Construction Managers assume overall responsibility for the coordination of all project activities, both in the office and on the job site.

This service specifically addresses the following aspects of construction:

CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT (CM)

  • Construction methods and practices

  • Availability of construction tools

  • Determination and obtaining of the necessary construction equipment.

  • Planning and hiring the necessary labor

  • Supervision

  • Planning and contracting of field engineering resources.

  • Development and administration of construction subcontracts.

  • Development and administration of field services subcontracts.

  • Field engineering subcontracts (if any).

  • Project controls.

  • Planning, contracting and control of orders for bulk materials.

  • Detailing and planning of on-site fabrication or pre-assembly of reinforcing or structural steel, piping systems.

  • Technical control of the acquisition of materials.

  • Construction support in the pre-commissioning, testing and commissioning phases.

HEALTH SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENT

  • Development of the safety, hygiene and environment manual adapted to the project.

  • On-site supervision and control of compliance with all the standards and conditions established in the project's Safety, Hygiene and Environment manual.

  • Team of professionals in matters of Hygiene, safety and Environment.

  • Development of the security program which will cover all facets of the project development.

  • Develop and implement an on-site emergency response plan.

  • Weekly and monthly reports with area KPIs.

SUPERVISION AND ON-SITE TECHNICAL OFFICE

  • Technical supervision of construction and assembly in all disciplines (mechanical, piping, civil, structures, electricity and I&C).

  • On-site technical office.

  • Quick responses to technical construction queries and/or RFIs.

  • Temporal planning of work.

  • Evaluation of contractors' labor needs.

  • Support during plant start-up.

  • Formalize communications with contractors through Service Orders and Order Notes.

  • Development of reports in case of errors, omissions, or any circumstance outside what is established in the project engineering.

QA/QC

Ensure quality during all phases of the project, from engineering to the purchase and delivery of equipment, supplies and materials:

  • Definition of quality standards.

  • On-site supervision of materials, equipment, processes and products.

  • Development of specific Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) procedures for each phase of the project.

  • Control and monitoring to ensure that contractors and suppliers comply with established project QA/QC regulations and procedures.

  • Detection and monitoring of Non-Conformities reported to the supplier or contractors.

CONTRACT ADMINISTRATION

  • Administration and management of all contracts assigned to comply with all the requirements established by AUDES.

  • Raise the corresponding fines and sanctions for breaches of deadline or contract.

  • KOM (Kick of Meeting) of all works and services contracts.

  • Opening and monitoring of the Work Book of all contracts.

  • Preparation of calls for bids for contractual services, including construction services, general services, consulting agreements or other services.

  • Evaluations of technical and commercial offers.

  • Recommendations from the contractor or service provider.

  • Preparation and coordination of contractual award documents on behalf and on behalf of the client.

  • Monitor all work and key performance indicators (KPIs).

  • Review and recommend approval of payment for certifications.

  • Evaluation, negotiation and management of all claims and requested change orders.

  • Coordinate and record the reception of works.

  • Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) Development

  • Change management.

  • Program and cost control management.

  • Cost estimation and budgeting.
